Hyundai motors announced the launch of its Verna Transform on june 25th 2010. Initially launched in south Korea the Hyundai Verna Transform is said to be a success and hence the company decided to release the Verna Transform prior to the Hyundai Verna in 2011. India has received Hyundai cars well and there is no doubt that Santro, i10 and i20 are already all over the streets in major cities.

The local arm of Daimler AG, Mercedes Benz India Pvt. Ltd, which has been selling luxury buses, now plans to enter the mass city bus segment.

In early Jan this year Tata unrevealed yet another low budget family car. The launch was made in New Delhi and it was said that car was designed for urban transport. Tata Motors unveiled the same car which is Tata Magic Iris, but this time in the pink city, Jaipur. The low budget car gives maximum speed output of of 34 mph which comes around 55 Kmph.

Tata is all set to introduce their diesel version of Tata Nano in the upcoming months. The new version of the car will have heavier engine which occupy less space than the petrol version of the Nano.
The news started spreading right after the Auto Expo 2010. Bosch, who has high-quality automotive technology, is working in this project along with Tata Motors to build a good diesel engine.
